It appears the Lions will host Tom Brady and the New England Patriots in the annual Thanksgiving Day game this year
Mike Florio at NBC Sports reports that the New York Jetswill host a game on Thanksgiving night, and this creates a domino effect that involves the Lions.
“The fact that the Jets will be hosting a Thanksgiving night game means that the Patriots will be traveling to Detroit earlier in the day,” Florio writes. “Because CBS will be televising the game hosted by the Lions, the road team must be from the AFC, and the only AFC teams playing in Ford Field this season will be the Pats and the Jets.”
This year’s game is Nov. 25.
