Celebrate 2011 National Pancake day with free pancakes at iHop on March 1. National Pancake Day. Mardi Gras, Fat Tuesday, Shrove Tuesday, Pancake Day or Pancake Tuesday are all terms used for the day before the start of Lent on Ash Wednesday.
Many commercial businesses organize events on Pancake Tuesday to raise funds for charitable purposes. iHop restaurants make it their business to offer free pancakes every year since their first National Pancake Day celebration in 2006.
Free pancakes will be offered at all iHop restaurants nationwide to celebrate Pancake Tuesday, with a limit of one free short stack (3 pancakes) per guest.
iHop restaurants hope that you will do your part in helping others by making an optional donation to support local children’s hospitals through Children’s Miracle Network or other local charities.
