Democratic National Convention Brings President Obama to Charlotte

The streets signs are being spruced up, banners are being unfurled and security plans are being finalized. Whether you’re a Republican or a Democrat, the excitement is undeniable. The Democratic National Convention is only going to bring about 30,000 people to Charlotte for a week of speeches, forums, workshops, parties and oh yeah – a presidential nomination acceptance speech. A range of A- and D- list celebrities are scheduled to be here from The Roots to Pitbull. My92.7′s Fly Ty will join a Radio One team of personalities and staff covering the convention. We’ve already started our coverage.
