Chad Ochocinco may not be an active player in the NFL this season thanks to his head butting incident with ex-wife Evelyn Lozada and his arrest following the incident, but he is keeping up with all news coming out of the league. According to new tweets released on Dec. 1, Chad Ochocinco tweeted about the Kansas City Chiefs murder-suicide this past Saturday, when Javon Belcher killed his girlfriend in their shared home, before turning the gun on himself at the Kansas City Chiefs stadium outside of Kansas later on Saturday.
“My prayers n condolences to the Belcher family, hoping God gives strength to the Chiefs organization, players n fans during this time,” Chad Ochocinco tweeted after learning of the news. “With very little information available on the girlfriend of Javon Belcher I’d like to extend my deepest sympathy to her family n friends.” Chad may not have pulled the gun on Evelyn, but he did react violently towards her during a fight, so maybe he is feeling particularly odd about the situation.
Chad isn’t the only reality television celebrity who has addressed this issue on Twitter. Kim Zolciak from “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” who is married to Atlanta Falcons player Kroy Biermann, also sent her thoughts and prayers to the victims of his murder-suicide tragedy. Do you think Chad Ochocinco feels weird about the incident in Kansas City, given his own violent reaction towards Evelyn Lozada earlier this year?
