Whether it be focusing on hair, makeup or clothes, according to a recent survey, women spend about one hour each day primping. That adds up to about 335 hours each year of time spent on physical appearance alone… which is equivalent to two weeks.
In addition to these statistics, the “Today”/AOL survey also found that teen girls spent the most time on their appearance, dedicating an average of 7.7 hours per week on their looks in comparison to the 6.4 hours per week adult women spend, the 4.5 hours a week adult men spend and the 4 hours a week teen boys spend.
What do you think about the fact that women spend so much time working on their physical appearance? Is it a small sacrifice to make for looking good? Or is it a complete waste of time?
