Back in December of 2012, Brandon Cain was sentenced to life in prison for the horrific murders of Abreeya Brown and Ashley Conaway. The young women were best friends who had been kidnapped, their bodies were found a month later in a shallow grave. According to reports, they had been bound, gagged and shot execution style. It was reported that four others were also convicted in connection with this case but reports say that Cain planned it all to silence Brown and Conaway because they had knowledge of another shooting Cain was involved in.
The trial was incredibly emotional and traumatic for the loved ones of Brown and Conaway but they were fortunate to receive justice when the Cain was sent to prison for the two young ladies murder.
Well now it seems the families of Brown and Conaway families have to once again go through a traumatic time because according to WXYZ, Cain will receive a new trial due to the fact that the clerk administered the wrong oath to the jurors during the murder trial, instead of reading the oath for jurors who had been selected, the court clerk read a different oath that is given to prospective jurors.
