Public smoking has become a big issue over the last few years and now according to WXYZ, Wayne State University may take the next step in smoke restrictions by making the campus smoke-free. Now Wayne State already has smoking restrictions currently in place but they feel making the school smoke free as whole would be better.
However, there are some students and faculty on staff, who would agree with this new restriction if it were to go through and become permanent. According to WXYZ, nearly two dozen Michigan colleges and universities are currently smoke-free and if Wayne State has it their way, they could soon be added to the list.
