It was just last week that 8-year-old, Kamari Smith, who was critically injured after being hit by a car, according to THE Detroit police. The incident happened on Robson Street, which is near the intersection of Greenfield Road and Fenkell Street on Detroit’s west side.
Now, prosecutors have charged two men in connection with the hit and run crash that critically injured 8-year-old Kamari Smith.
Cortney Shields and Leonard Crosby were arraigned on Saturday in connection with the crash that occurred at Robson and Eaton on May 19. Shields has been charged with Reckless Driving and Failure to Stop at the Scene of an Accident Causing Serious Injury or Death, while Crosby has been charged with Accessory After the Fact.
