New York Giants great and morning talk-show host Michael Strahan was inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame this weekend, but has lost his Quarterback. The Goodmorning America anchor and model/star of the VH1 reality show “Hollywood Exes,” Nicole Murphy called it quits Friday just 2 days before Strahan was inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame.
Representatives for Strahan told People magazine, “They love each other very much, but with the distance and work schedule it has been hard to maintain the relationship”.
The former couples careers turned them into long distance lovers. Strahan spends most of his time in New York while Murphy travels back and forth to Los Angeles to film her television show, which is in its third season.
“The man’s got 20 jobs right now,” Murphy said of her then fiance. “He’s just busy.”
Strahan retired from football after the 2007, season when he helped the Giants win their first Super Bowl victory in 20 years. He is now pulling double duty for ABC as an anchor on Good Morning America and host of “Live with Kelly and Michael”.
