“I’d rather be loathed for who I am than loved for who I am not.”
While flipping through television channels the other night I came across Dr. Wayne W. Dyer, affectionately called the “father of motivation” by his fans, speaking about his latest book “Excuses Begone.” This quote is his not mine, but it resonated with me and stuck in my head.
It can be really tough to not give in to the pressure that friends and family put on you to be something or someone other than who you truly are. Stay strong about what YOU believe to be YOUR authentic self.
A few things to be mindful of:
* Stay determined to guild your own life.
* Figure out what is best for you.
* Retain your right for total and absolute freedom to create.
